But, in all seriousness, this school year has been a BIG one for all of us! Eli, Mady and Trip have all grown up in so many ways...physically, emotionally, academically. They've had friends move away, new friends come into their lives, dealt with mean kids and comforted hurt kids, learned new skills like phonics and division...and mastered the perfect cartwheel. Our family has learned new ways to communicate, new ways to manage self control and new ways to have fun!
I could not be more proud of the amazing people Eli, Mady and Trip are becoming! I am so thankful for a school where they can bloom to become all that God has planned for them to be. I am thankful for a great community and neighborhood where they can play outside with friends and always have someone looking out for them. I am grateful for a family that supports and encourages them in all their sports and activities and in every day life! I am especially grateful for a husband that goes to work every day, so that I can stay home and enjoy (and endure) life with our 3 awesome kids!
One hour from now, I'll be on my way to pick up my pre-k, second grader and fourth grader for the last time this school year! That's just enough time for one last afternoon nap, quick shower and a shot of tequila...um...I mean sip of sweet tea, before I bring them home for the Summer! Cheers!
