I am so glad this week is over! The stomach flu made its way through our family all week. It started with Mady on Monday night and then moved onto me Tuesday morning, then TJ and Trip got it on Thursday morning. After much cleaning this weekend, I am hoping we are officially germ free. In the midst of all of the puking, we had a break through with Trip. Shortly after I put him to bed on Monday, he got up and turned off his light and slept the whole night through with his light off. He has proceeded to do that every night since. Even while he was sick. I can't believe it! Especially because he turns it off every night! The first night he asked if he got a reward for sleeping with the light off, so of course, I said yes, but he hasn't had one since then, even though he's asked every morning, but he's still turning them off and sleeping that way all night. Woo Hoo!!!
Mady keeps amazing me with her growing vocabulary. Here are some of the new words that she is trying to say: butterfly, yellow, bible, sing song, banana, ghost, pumpkin, throw and she is finally saying her big brother's name! They have been really cute this week too. Since we've been stuck at home all week, with no one to play with but each other, they have really started to enjoy playing together. Mady is so tough too, she loves when Trip tackles her and she loves to take his toys so that he will chase her. The only thing she doesn't like is when we takes her toys...hmmm...interesting.
