How can it be that today is Mady's second birthday!? If her whole life goes by as fast as these first 2 years have, it's going to feel like she is celebrating her 30th birthday a day from now! Ever since Mady entered our lives, she has been a fun, silly, fireball of energy, making all who know her love her. People always notice Mady when she enters a room. And, they are always telling me how great she is when I come to take her home. :-) From her beautiful, golden, wild, curly hair, to her confident and goofy attitude, to her sweet and caring personality, Mady is the whole package (as Pitty would put it). Mady loves to dance and sing. Her favorite songs right now are Twinkle Twinkle and the ABCDs as she calls them. She can count to 10 and she knows most of her colors. She is talking very well and very much! She loves to play outside and is really loving the swimming pool this summer. She is a girly girl that loves to accessorize with shoes and jewelry. But, she can also hang with the boys and just play trains or cars. I think her favorite thing to do is EAT! She can eat like no child I've ever seen. She loves sweet stuff, but she is also really good at eating things that are good for you. Every night before bed and every afternoon before nap, she lets me know what she'd like to eat when she wakes up. Her biggest accomplishment this week is going pee pee in the potty! I do not think we are at all near her being potty trained, but she keeps trying to pee in the potty more because she loved getting candy for her reward the first time. And, according to Mady, she "needs more candy!" She is most precious when I carry her down the stairs each morning, as she lays on my shoulder, sucking her thumb and rubbing her "nina and blanket." I wish I could freeze her just like she is! But, I also know it's going to be so fun to watch her grow up into a beautiful, amazing, young woman! Thank you God for blessing us with Madeline Grace Kuehn! Happy Birthday sweet girl...I'm so glad you were born!
