Well, apparently our four year old is quite the ladies man. I knew that most of the girls in his class enjoyed his company because he is always playing with them, talking about them and they draw him pictures in class. But, this morning, I realized that he too, is aware of their affections for him. Before now, I just thought he was clueless in all of it. Each day in class, they are partnered with another student and they go to each station in pairs throughout the day. So, this morning, Trip told me that yesterday his partner was Sarah. And, then he said, "she likes me." I already knew this because Sarah's mom had filled me in on Sarah's crush on Trip at their class Halloween party. But, I wanted to know how Trip knew. So, I asked him how he knew that. And, he said, "she told me." I then asked him what exactly she said. His answer: "she told me that she likes me a lot." This was said with a huge smile on his face! So, then I asked him about the other two girls he talks about all the time, Jennifer and Rebecca. And, he said, "they are all my girlfriends." What a ladies man! I could not help but laugh at that! I think we are going to have lots of girls calling at all times of the day when he gets older. OH NO!!!
I have to share a funny quote of the day from Mady as well. While we were eating lunch today, Trip was talking about how he wanted to be a college football player when he grew up. That in itself is funny. But, even funnier was Mady's response. She looked at me and said, "when I grow up, I'm going to be a pig. That's an aminal." Wonder how that's going to work. Good thing is, she already has the pigging out part of being a pig down. Now, just a snout and a tail and we are good.
