All by Myself

Well, I did it! I made it through my first experience as a single mom. TJ was out of town for basically 3 nights last week and I made it through alive (and so did the kids)! Trip is trying everything he can to avoid going to bed every night. He always has to "tell me something" over and over. It's usually something silly and sweet like "Have a nice day." Sweet, but I don't need to hear it 10 thousand times every night. :-) And, Trip and Mady decided to take turns keeping me awake Thursday night which meant I basically got no sleep. FUN! I did have some back up Friday night before TJ got back from my Dad who stopped by on his way from a meeting to take us to dinner and help get kids to bed. Thanks DAD! We made it and now TJ is back home and all is as it should be.
