Part of our pre-bed routine is reading a book together as a family. Sometimes this includes Mady, but sometimes she is still down for one last little nap before her final feeding. Anyway, it started out with TJ and I choosing the books, but of course Trip has taken over that role. Lately all he wants to read is the Poky Little Puppy. It's a great book, but after the 100th time, it's not so great anymore. :-) I can't wait until he is ready to move on to another book! I think he really likes this one because he can relate to the naughty puppies. Their mother has to keep telling them not to do things over and over and they keep doing them and getting punished for it. Sounds just like our house!!! I'm hoping that he will eventually notice that when they start obeying their mother, they get rewarded. One can only hope.
This is just a cute picture I found today while I was ordering some on snapfish. I love mornings like this one where we can all just lay around in our PJs all morning. I plan to use this picture as a reminder to Trip and Mady that they once loved each other whenever they start the sibling fight stage.
