We spent the weekend at Lake Lanier with our crazy Triathalete fathers...and our moms were there too. Trip really had fun exploring the Lake with Pitty and Kaki and Grumpa. Of course, neither kid slept well Saturday night, but we had fun anyway. It's always fun to get both sets of grandparents together. Trip really loves all the attention! And, Mady was all smiles as usual, except for during the middle of the night.
Yesterday, Trip and I were playing outside and we found a walking stick bug! Trip loved it. He loved it so much that he jumped up and down and accidentally landed on the bug. The bug managed to live despite his leg injury. Trip followed it all around the yard. He tried to feed it too, but for some reason the bug didn't like rocks or sticks to eat. Trip named the bug Creepy and he keeps looking for him each time we go outside. I have a feeling Creepy will stay far away from our house from now on.
Mady had her 4 month check up today. She is getting so big! She is 26 inches long and almost 16 pounds. She had to get 4 shots, poor thing. And, Trip had a great day at "school." He actually went up to his teachers while he was playing outside and told them he needed to go potty and then he went for the first time at school. YEAH!!! Major breakthrough in the potty training endeavor!
