Halloween and Aunt Betsy

Aunt Betsy came in to town over the weekend, so she got to enjoy Halloween with us. Trip had a great time trick-or-treating. It took him a while to warm up to it, but once he did, he loved it. He got so excited about the candy in his pumpkin. He was so sweet and timid, he went with a group of his little friends, and he would stand back and let everyone else get the candy first. He was the last one to get candy at each house, and I'm pretty sure at some houses he didn't even take any. But, he loved it anyway. Mady did great too. She hung in all night, even though it went way past nap time for her. She was the cutest little ladybug. Trip was a football player, so we put ladybug stickers on his uniform to signify his team as the ladybugs, therefore...Mady was his mascot. (My not-so-clever way to tie the two costumes together). And, then TJ wore sweats, as the coach, and I put on my old cheer uniform and was the team cheerleader. So silly!

Trip and Mady both enjoyed their time with Aunt Betsy. TJ and Betsy took Trip to the funpark to ride go-carts and play mini-golf. He really likes to go there and this time he even rode some rides!

Now, we are just readjusting to life without Aunt Betsy, I don't know who misses her most, the kids or me (or TJ).
