Today is the first day in almost two weeks that it's been just me and the two kids at home. Trip had a wonderful time staying with Pitty and Grumpa for a few extra days. It's so nice that he is big enough to do that kind of thing now. I am glad he's back home again though. I can tell Mady is really glad to have him home, and I think he actually missed her too. Although, today, while she was napping, he and I were playing and he told me that he wanted Mady to be back in my tummy again. I wonder what that means.
We went to get our Christmas tree last night and he was just so excited. He was just running between all the trees yelling, "Christmas trees!" Then, today he helped me make some cookies for a party we are hosting this week. His job was to help peel the wrapping off the Hershey kisses...he ate so much chocolate! Even though we are starting to do Christmas oriented things, we keep reminding him that his birthday comes first. I'm not sure which he is more excited for.
