Last night, we had some bad weather come through our part of town. While we were eating dinner, the tornado warning sirens went off. So, we moved the kids into our tiny half bath to finish their dinners. This is the first time that Trip has really been aware of a tornado warning and what that means. He kept saying, "Mommy, we need to get in the bathroom, so the tomatoes don't get us." Every time he would hear the beeping on the tv, when the warning would scroll across the bottom, he would say, "uh-oh, I hear bad weather again." Who needs a weatherman when you have Trip.
Mady pushed herself into a sitting position for the first time today! She is scooting all over the place now. Her favorite thing to go for lately is Trip's potty. Gross! I can't believe it's been almost 9 months ago that she was born.
