Trip can finally pedal his bike with both feet! We got him the bike last year for Christmas, which we knew was a little early, but thought it would be fun for him. He loves the bike, but has had trouble learning how to ride it. At first, he just sat on it and walked it around using his feet on the floor...kind of like the how the Flintstones made their cars move. Then, he started pedaling with one foot, while the other still moved on the floor. This was quite a funny site! Lately, he's been getting better at using both feet, but hadn't really mastered it until today. Today, he was so good at it that he was circling the kitchen all day. Big boy!
Mady's new trick is playing peek-a-boo. This is a game that Trip never really got into, so it's fun to play it with Mady. When I am getting her dressed on her changing table, I will lay the burp cloth on her face and say"where is Mady?" Then, she will pull down the cloth with a huge smile on her face and I'll say "there she is!" Then, Mady will pull it back over her face and do it all over again. She is so smart!
