Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day

Today I took Trip to see his first play. Our local theater is doing Alexander's Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day! For the most part, Trip and his friend, Addy, enjoyed it. They still have trouble separating fiction from reality, so there were a few times that they both got really bothered by the play. The funniest thing was at one point Trip turned to me and said, "Stop it! I want this movie to be over. Turn it off!" I just hope he doesn't remember the scene with the crazy dentist next time he goes to the dentist. All in all, it was a fun morning and I'm glad we had a chance to have a little Mommy and Trip date.

My wonderful friend from Community Bible Study, Kerry, stayed with Mady for me. Mady loves Kerry, so they had a great time. Kerry was blown away by Mady's ability to put away food. She is a piggy!

We got Mady a bubble machine for Easter. After her fits of laughter from watching Trip blow bubbles, I thought she would love it...I was wrong. TJ turned it on tonight and stuck her in front of it and she screamed in horror. You would of thought the bubbles were burning her skin or something. I guess lots of bubbles in your face is not as fun as your big brother trying to blow them from a stick. Who knew!
