Visit from Pitty

I can't believe I am just now finding time to sit down and write about our weekend. Pitty came into town for a visit. It was great to have her here. She got here early Friday morning and was able to meet us for Trip's last swim lesson and see how much he had learned. We had a chance to put it to the test on Saturday too. We all went to the pool in the morning. We were the only ones there not swimming laps and then we had the pool to ourselves for a while, once the exercisers left. Trip, Pitty and TJ stayed at the pool for 2 1/2 hours and Trip never got out of the water. He had so much fun showing off his new skills and swimming underwater. We are so glad to see his progress! Mady and I left early because little miss cranky needed a morning nap. Then, Pitty got some alone time with the munchkins while TJ and I went to a Braves game and out to dinner. Our kids (especially Trip) are learning that when we leave them with their grandparents it means fun times are ahead and most rules do not apply. On Sunday, we all went out to lunch and then Pitty treated the kids to a stop at the local toy store. Trip picked out a new engine for his train collection and Mady got a purse and a ball...two of her favorite things. I hope this will help her stop playing with my purses and losing all their contents. We were all sad to see Pitty leave Sunday afternoon. Come back soon Pitty!
