And then there was one...

It was such a calm and relaxing weekend with just one child at home. We never appreciated how easy we had it with just Trip, until Mady came along. It was so nice to have some one-on-one time with her too. TJ and I took her for walks both mornings and took her to play at the park on Saturday. I think she enjoyed the time with us, but she obviously missed Trip too. Whenever we sat down to eat, she would look at his seat and say "Tttss?" Which I interpreted as "where's Trip?" And, she was very needy too, she wanted to be held a lot, which is strange for our independent little Mady. She is really walking so well now, she is not really crawling anymore. The only time she crawls is when she is trying to get away from me when it's nap time.

TJ and I got so much done around the house with only one child too. TJ was a huge help! All of the "baby" toys are back up in the attic. It makes me wonder whether we'll ever get them back out again, unless it's just to give them away.

Trip had a great time with Kaki and Grandad. He went to Chuck E. Cheese, played outside in their rocks, "swam" in the hot tub, went to the Tell Us Museum and then went to see the Lasershow and Fireworks at Stone Mountain. He was exhausted when they brought him back today, but he still didn't nap! He is crazy! It's nice to have him back home again.
